Asda Financial Services (AFS) has launched a search and display campaign for its loans and credit cards, after outsourcing its media for the first time.
AFS and its partners, GE Consumer Credit Services and GE Capital Bank, appointed TBG London to manage the account, which is understood to be valued between £1m and £1.5m.
The first campaigns have gone live with a promotion for an Asda Credit Card giving users 2p off every litre of petrol at Asda petrol stations.
It’s also understood the company is considering brand-name bidding on Google when the trademark bidding restrictions are lifted on 5 May.
Earlier this year, Asda appointed Greenlight to manage SEO for seven of its key verticals, including Asda Travel, Asda Entertainment and Asda Electricals, as well as key products on Asda.com.
Last week, TBG London won the Ladbrokes online media account, while the agency has also launched an analytics division.
